My last words this year 2019

So, we have a last day of this 2019 year.

While checking social media, like Facebook or Instagram, we see a lot of pictures type: "Best 9 of the year" or "Summary of 2019"...

Why are we doing this?! Why we become sentimental, at the end of each year?!

I understand this is all coming from our human nature, but why are we doing this, actually?!

Why are we not making a summary every night? Every day?

We make choices every day, right? We lose chances every day, right?

We judge people every day, right? We hurt people every day, right?

We look for happiness, try to reach our dreams and goals every day, right?

Then, why we make this summary in the end of each year, few hours before a New Year's Eve?! Time passes anyway. Every day, every night, every minute is a chance for a new beginning.

If, we cannot change ourselves each day in a year... Will it make a difference?! Our plan for a New Year?

This rule: "New Year, New Me"?! Does it make any sense?!

We should think about new chances and new beginnings every single day, not once in a year. I mean; it is good to make a summary after a whole year, but why we do this only once in a year?! We should think about ourselves every single day!

Sigmund Freud once said: " The only person with whom you have to compare yourself, is you in the past"- You do not need the 31st December to think about the changes. They are in the corner. Every day is a chance to change something in yourself. All you need is a moment to think. Every minute of your life is a chance for a change. You don't even need a plan. Just make a decision: " I am changing this right now!"

I could make a summary of this year, as well, but what is the point?! I made stupid things, I received good things this year too. I achieved good things, I won few battles, few times this year I was proud of myself, but I remembered all of these, during this year and I don't have to make a summary on 31st December, because I've been enjoying my winnings, when they took place.

This is your life. You don't need to wait till the last day of the year to make a summary. Please remember: every day, you have a new chance for a change, for a new beginning.

Just don't lose it. Take your life in your hands and live it. Today. Do not wait until 31st of December.
