Today I was reading the pocket edition of a collection written by Friedrich Nietzsche.

The collection contains 3 different pieces. The style of writing is strictly autobiographical,in my opinion. Nietzsche in these 3 pieces talks about himself, you can get the impression, that he is sitting next to you and talking to you. He puts up in it topics like idealism, existence of god, faith, spiritual subjects as well. He talks about human existence, he shows us how he is dealing with weird thoughts coming up to his head. For me this is very interesting lecture. He writes about his parents, music, about France, German people and morality. I can say that in this collection, you will find a lot of different topics. From the other hand you can see how arrogant he is in his writing. For some people it can be disturbing. Some people can be angry about his artworks.

Reading this piece of Nietzsche is not easy and you can get pissed as well. At some point you will see his furious intelligence mixed with arrogance and self-celebration. Sometimes I was sitting, reading this and thinking : "wow, he is really arrogant", but despite that fact, I found this lecture very interesting and I wanted to read more and more.

I think this is amazing, that in 2019 year you can sit and read something written so many years ago. In your imagination you can see Nietzsche sitting in front of his desk and opening up to you.

I found it also a little bit confusing. From the other point you can learn from Nietzsche how to be self-confident as well. Everything of course seems to be written in funny way and not so serious, but still I find this very interesting and amazing somehow.

This artwork depicts Nietzsche as very sceptical and sarcastic writer, but I think that's the thing we can like him for. General impression about Nietzsche's writing is full of bravery, arrogance (but in a good way) and honesty in my opinion. I will read some more of his stuff and I already know it will be interesting experience for me.

This small collection is a part of "Ecce Homo", which was written in 1888 and first published in 1908. I didn't read "Ecce Homo" yet, but after this small experience with Nietzsche I'm sure I will.
